Slavko Jendričko

Slavko Jendričko (Komarevo, 1947) is one of the most productive Croatian poets with more than twenty books published so far. He graduated from The Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb and The Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin. His work has been included in all important reviews and anthologies of contemporary Croatian poetry. Anthologies of his poetry have been published in Italian and Slovenian.

Jendričko was awarded the City of Sisak Award for contribution to the city’s cultural development (2000), the St. Quirinus Plaque for his poetic oeuvre (2006), the Order of the High Yellow Grain Charter for Lifetime Achievement, Drenovci (2011), the Tin Ujević Award (2014) for the poetry collection Evolution of Madness, the City of Sisak Award (2014), and the Sisak-Moslavina County Lifetime Achievement Award (2014).
