Irena Matijašević
Irena Matijašević (Zagreb, 1965) is a poet, novelist, editor, and translator. She graduated in English and Comparative Literature from Zagreb's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She served as a member of the Croatian Semiotic Society's board of directors and currently works as an editor at Croatian Radio, where she edits programs on poetry and literature, as well as the human sciences.
Her poems have been translated into English, German, Slovak, Swedish, Romanian and Polish, while both her poems and essays have been published in numerous magazines (Quorum, Vijenac, Zarez, 15 dana, Poezija, Fantom Slobode to name a few).
