Ivan Vidić

Ivan Vidić (Zagreb, 1966) is a prolific Croatian playwright, librettist and prosaist. He was awarded three times with the coveted Marin Držić Award (in 1998, 2001 and 2004), as well as with the Marul Award in 2004. He authored over twenty plays and radio dramas, as well as several scripts for documentaries, full-length features and experimental films.

He’s also know for his novels Gangabanga, Violator and Faraday Cage, as well as two short story collections The South State and The Thousand Year Dream. His works were translated into ten languages.
