Delimir Rešicki

Delimir Rešicki (Osijek, 1960) graduated in Croatian Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Osijek. He is a poet, writer, literary critic and editor of the daily newspaper Glas Slavonije. He is one of the leading contemporary Croatian poets and his poems have been included in various anthologies and translated into German, English, Italian, French, Swedish, Spanish, Hungarian, Polish, Slovak, Russian, Bulgarian, Macedonian and Slovene, in magazines and standalone publications.

He participated in the international multimedia projects “Matria Europa” (Kunst Ruimte, Amsterdam 1996) and “soundtrack. psi” (Osijek, 2001). Delimir Rešicki won numerous literary awards, including the Vladimir Nazor Award in 2005 and 2015, the Hubert Burda Preis in 2008 and the Saint Quirinus Award in 2015, for his outstanding contribution to Croatian poetry.
