Ivana Sajko to participate in the opening ceremony of Frankfurt Book Fair 2018
05/10/2018Ivana Sajko, together with her translator Alida Bremer, won the prestigious German international literary award – 10. Internationaler Literaturpreis – for the German edition of her novel Liebesroman.
Another outstanding recognition for Ivana Sajko is the invitation to take part, along with the German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the Flemish author Stefan Hertmans, in the Frankfurt Book Fair Opening Ceremony, which will take place on Wednesday, 10th October 2018. The three guests will participate in a discussion on contemporary issues, and the question of how to defend freedom in times of turmoil.
