24/02/2025The Dutch edition of Slobodan Šnajder’s The Brass Age (Wereldbibliotheek, translated by Roel Schuyt) has sold astonishing 15.000 copies in the Netherlands across 8 reprints! The original Croatian edition of the novel was published in 2015 (TIM Press); in 2021, 4th edition was published by the Croatian publisher Bodoni.
The Brass Age was awarded several, mostly regional, literary awards: Meša Selimović Award, the Mirko Kovač Award, Kočićevo Pero, T-Portal Prize and Radomir Konstantinović Award.
